Have you seen any of these Chinese movies? Winter Jasmine, Lovers grief over the yellow river, Master of taichi, or Wordless love? I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I spent a day Cuan di xia, the historical and beautifully preserved Ming dynasty village where these movies were all shot. It was a beautiful day spent in the mountainous countryside, and was a really nice break from the craziness of Beijing. The village is located on the mountain, so it was actually a day of exercise as well, and of course, there was delicious fresh food to enjoy too!
Of course, I had to include a lantern pic!
I had such a great time in China, and took so many pics! I will post more as soon as I can!
Its been so busy since I've returned, and another container of lanterns is arriving next week for Lanternshop!
I hope you all have a lovely week!

I've never really had a burn to visit China but love travelling vicariously. Who knows, maybe I'll change my mind
Your pictures are fabulous... Love the fact that you always sneak a lantern in ;)
Hi Karen, glad you had a great time. Hope all is well in your part of the world xx
