Origami Tea Bag

Yes, I'm supposed to be working on my tax receipts all morning ... yawn ... but instead I've been blog-surfing, and having a very enjoyable time!!! :-) (big smile)

Anyway, look what I've found!! I just think this is the greatest thing ever (well the greatest thing I've seen so far in 2010)!!

Designed by a very talented Russian lady Nathalia Ponomareva - what a genius!

As you all know I have a HUGE love of tea, and also anything with an oriental design.

This origami crane tea bag combines everything that I'm into - so cooool. I don't think these are in production yet, as I can't find anywhere to buy them. (I've spent about half an hour looking so far). But if anyone out there in blog-land has seen them for sale anywhere, pleeeeeeeeease let me know!

Now that this is out of my system, perhaps I can get stuck into some work ..... or perhaps I can blog-surf some more. Maybe I'll just pour myself a delicious tea (blackcurrant and peach is on the menu for today) and see what happens! :-)

Have a great day everyone - hope you enjoy this little find as much as I have!

What a mega idea! Hows Patsy? She's been a bit quiet lately! xxx

Hi Tracey, Thanks for enquiring after Patsy. She's very well - she's also been quite busy. Her friend Libby has been visiting her a bit lately, so she's been very busy playing (actually neglecting her assistant duties a little). I'll post again about her soon!!
Cheers, Karen

I had seen that teabag. So much effort and here's me throwing leaves into a pot that I've always just emptied the cold tea from. Not very beautiful.
Now, there is NO WAY you are 40. Absolutely not. Not possible.

As far as I know, these tea-bags are not available for sale. I remember seeing them a while ago and spending time looking on the internet. The girl who designed them did for a project but couldn't afford to put them into production. Unfortunately, a good idea is only as good as you can afford to make it.
