Miss Dragon Fruit Fairy

Very exciting!! My dragon fruit cuttings have arrived and are now in the garden!
I'll take a nice pic and post soon. We also received a jar of jam to try as well - and look what Patsy got ..... the 'Dragon Fruit Fairy' sash!!!

She's a little tired from the photo shoot!

The jam .... I just need some scones now :-)

This is what my harvest is going to look like!

and here's the cake I'm gonna make with my fruit!!! :-)
I can't wait!
Happy Monday everyone :-)

Yes, Patsy... posing for pictures is tiring!

Thanks for all your comments. I agree Tracey, Patsy was hot and bothered. Its getting so hot here now, and she is unimpressed with her big fur coat - she's going to the beauty parlour tomorrow for her haircut. I think it will be ages before I get fruit ... but fingers crossed, and yes, I will share my creations with you all - but be warned, I'm no Martha Stewart in the kitchen!!! ;-)

Dogs do get tired with all the fuss of being a princess. Thanks for the update on the Boonah op shops.

That cake is so cheerfully beautiful! I adore dragon fruit, too - but have never tried it in jam form. I'll have to Google for a recipe and keep my eyes peeled for the next time it goes on sale in the shops here.

Wishing you an excellent day, sweetie!
